1. Ha Ram is an unfortunate person

When Ha Ram was a kid, he got into an incident that made him blind. The incident totally changed his whole life.

2. A lovely person with a grudge

Because of his wisdom and skill, Ha Ram became one of the most trusted people by the king. However, deep in his heart, he wants revenge on the royal family for what happened to his family.

3. Ahn Hyo Seop’s reasons to star in Lovers of The Red Sky

In the interview, Ahn Hyo Seop revealed that he is eager to work with Director Jang Tae Yu for Lovers of the Red Sky drama. Moreover, he wants to work with Kim Yoo Jung, who is more experienced in Kdrama world.

4. Ahn Hyo Seop was nervous about meeting Kim Yoo Jung

Despite the chemistry shown on screen, Ahn Hyo Seop revealed that he was pretty nervous when he first met Kim Yoo Jung. He said that Yoo Jung is much more senior than him that he should learn more. However, they finally can build such chemistry that Kdrama lovers would like to ship them in real life.

5. Ahn Hyo Seop watched Kim Yoo Jung’s previous dramas

To prepare himself, Ahn Hyo Seop watched Kim Yoo Jung’s previous historical dramas, such as Moon Embracing the Sun and Love in the Moonlight. He does so to measure his acting skill before he meets Kim Yoo Jung in person.

6. Being blind is challenging

As mentioned previously, Ha Ram, the role played by Ahn Hyo Seop, is blind. Therefore, he needs to learn how to be blind, although he can see everything.

7. Ha Ram wears contact lenses

Ha Ram’s blind eyes are red, filled with the evil spirit. Ahn Hyo Seop needs to wear red contact lenses during the filming of the eyes. However, he takes it off whenever it’s not necessary.

By putting on and taking off the contact lenses, Ahn Hyo Seop makes sure that his eyes are comfortable during Lovers of The Red Sky filming.

8. Ha Ram is a complicated character

Ahn Hyo Seop doesn’t only play as Ha Ram in Lovers of The Red Sky. His role is quite complicated. There is an evil spirit in his body so that there are scenes that he needs to convey how an evil spirit is.
