BLACKPINK has just finished their first virtual concert, The Show. Though it was postponed from December to January 31, it didn’t lose any excitement from BLINKs. A report said that 280,000 fans watched BLACKPINK: The Show virtual concert. During the 90-minute concert, there are several most memorable things Kpop fans shouldn’t forget, from BLACKPINK fashionable concert to iconic Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du performance and BLACKPINK members solo performances.
Memorable Things on BLACKPINK: The Show Virtual Concert
1. Sour Candy Stage Moment
In 2020, Lady Gaga collaborated with BLACKPINK in Sour Candy for her recent album. During The Show, Kpop fans had got a chance to witness the aesthetic and musical inclination of Sour Candy.
2. BLACKPINK Fashionable Concert
When you come to think of fashion, you think of BLACKPINK! The Show was just like a Fashionable concert. From various pieces by NCY-based luxury brand The Blonds in Kill This Love, to the fashion each BLACKPINK member wore for their solo performances.
3. The Biggest Hit Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du on The Show Stage
BLACKPINK managed one of their biggest hits, Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du, into the next level during The Show. Some new choreography, especially in the dance break part awestruck all the fans who were watching. The stage presence and the use of water will make the performance of Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du performance as the most iconic one.

4. Doja Cat’s Say So Cover by Lisa
Performing like a glam showgirl, Lisa showed off her vocal skill with Doja Cat’s Say So. Moreover, Lisa nailed the performance and added the dance break part to the song.
5. Tove Lo’s Habits Cover by Jisoo
Jisoo appeared on the stage like a purple pop princess performing Tove Lo’s Habits (Stay High). Not only she nailed the performance, but Jisoo also surprised fans by performing the Korean version of Habits.
6. Solo Debut of Rosé
The next unforgettable moment during BLACKPINK: The Show was probably the most anticipated one. Rosé finally performed her sweet solo debut song, Gone. Sitting on a swing, Rosé magnificently mesmerized BLINKs with her vocal skill as a soloist. However, the release date is still mentioned as ‘coming soon.’
7. Jennie’s Solo Rap Version
Jennie’s original version of Solo has been breaking records. Nevertheless, in BLACKPINK: The Show virtual concert, Jennie showed the world that she is beyond her fans’ expectation. She performed a rap version of Solo and also adding a dance break.
8. Lisa Shout Out to Thailand
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Lisa hasn’t been home (read: Thailand) for more than a year. During the soundcheck, Lisa mentioned that her parents bought a new TV, to watch for BLACKPINK: The Show. Besides, during the virtual concert, Lisa greeted her fans and family in Thai.

9. Handmade Signs from BLINKs
Previously, BLACKPINK asked BLINKs to write and send love messages to be shown on The Show live concert. They did! During the performance of Forever Young laid-back version, the quartet was surrounded by love messages and artwork from BLINKs all over the world.
10. Ballad Version of Don’t Know What To Do
Stripped away from the original EDM version of Don’t Know What To Do, BLACKPINK has proven their vocal skills in performing ballad song. The falsettos that the quartet performed during Don’t Know What To Do ballad version has levelled up BLACKPINK.
11. A journey from Whistle to Boombayah
BLACKPINK earliest songs were one of the performances Kpop fans shouldn’t miss during the virtual concert. Whistle, As If It’s Your Last, and Boombayah have brought BLACKPINK to the level where they are now. Yet, the spotlight went to Jennis’s intro rap verse on Boombayah, and mini solo on As If It’s Your Last.
12. The Compliment Fest
The main show of a concert might be the performances itself. However, it was a precious moment to see BLACKPINK girls compliment each other earnestly. They didn’t stop praising each other during The Show, from their daily routine to vocals and dance routine.
