Date & Venue
The 38th GDA will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia on January 6, 2024. With a seating capacity of around 80,000, it promises to be a grand affair. This event will be held outside of South Korea for the fifth time. Previous ceremonies have been held in Japan, Malaysia, China, and Thailand.
MCs Lineup
On November 30, the 38th Golden Disc Awards announced their MC lineup. The hosts for the event will be ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Sung Si Kyung.
Sung Si Kyung has been hosting the Golden Disc Awards for the past seven years, making this his eighth year as the host. On the other hand, this will be Cha Eun Woo’s first time hosting such a prestigious ceremony.
38th Golden Disc Awards Nominees
On December 4 at 2 p.m. KST, the 38th Golden Disc Awards organizing committee launched an official website and announced the nominees. The categories include Digital Song Division, Album Division Bonsang (Main Award), and Rookie Artist of the Year. The organizing committee selected the nominees for the once-in-a-lifetime Rookie Artist of the Year award based on their digital song scores and album sales.
