In a historic moment for the Blue Dragon Film Awards, after three decades of hosting the esteemed event, Kim Hye Soo will be stepping down as the MC for the 44th edition. Since 1993, the 53-year-old veteran actress has been the face of this prestigious ceremony, with the exception of 1998 when Shim Hye Jin temporarily took over the role. In 2022, she hosted alongside Yoo Yeon Seok for the fifth time, marking a significant contribution to the Blue Dragon Film Awards. With her final appearance approaching, the stage is set for a memorable end to Kim Hye Soo’s remarkable tenure as the host of the prestigious event.
