Winners of the 52nd Korea Broadcasting Awards

The Korea Broadcasting Awards have been one of South Korea’s most respected media celebrations since 1973. Every year, the Korea Broadcasters Association honors excellence programs and individuals in TV, radio, and entertainment.
For its 52nd edition, the Korea Broadcasters Association reviewed 244 programs and 56 broadcasters loved by the public over the past year. They selected 9 programs across 24 categories for the Program Awards and 18 individuals across 20 categories for the Personal Awards. These programs and individuals have brought joy, information, and inspiration to viewers and listeners across the country.

- Lifetime Achievement Award: Seo Jun (EBS)
- Producer Award: Song Yeon Hwa (MBC)
- Announcer Award: Joo Si Eun (SBS)
- Host Award: Choi Bool Am (Recommended by KBS)

Choi Bool Am, Lee Jun Hyuk, Park Bo Gum, and J-Hope

Senior actor Choi Bool Am, prominent actor Lee Jun Hyuk, beloved actor-singer Park Bo Gum, and global icon J-Hopewere recognized among the 18 winners in the Personality Awards. For categories like Best Actor, Entertainer, and Singer, a 30% viewer vote was combined with the judges’ scores, celebrating the winners’ immense popularity.
The legendary veteran actor and entertainer Choi Bool Am of “Chief Detective 1958” earned this year’s Host Award category. This honor comes from his remarkable 14-year-long run hosting the beloved show “Korean Table.”
The Best Actor award went to the brilliant actor Lee Jun Hyuk. He captivated audiences in the latest SBS romance drama “Love Scout,” playing a single father who excels both at work and at home.
Beloved actor-singer Park Bo Gum was named Best Entertainer. Fans were thrilled for his grand comeback to hosting on a music talk show for KBS, “The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile” (박보검의 칸타빌레). The honorary ambassador for Korea Tourism 2025 charmed the audience throughout the show’s successful seventh season, which featured heartfelt performances and warm interviews with guests like his co-star in “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” who is also Korea’s diva, IU.
And the Best Singer award went to global icon J-hope of BTS. Following his discharge in October 2024, he delighted fans with several TV appearances. He gave audiences a special look into his daily life on the hit reality show “I Live Alone.”
