One of the prestigious awards for filmmakers and films in South Korea, the annual Grand Bell Awards or Daejong International Film Awards, has announced the 58th Grand Bell Awards winners in 2022. Find the complete list below.
The 58th Grand Bell Awards Winners in 2022
On December 9, the Motion Pictures Association of Korea held the 58th Grand Bell Awards or Daejong International Film Awards for excellence in the film industry in South Korea. This year’s Grand Bell Awards took place at New Millennium Hall, Konkuk University, Seoul, and hosted by Kang Na Yeon and Kim Tae Hoon.
The nominations were films that were released started from October 1, 2021, to September 31, 2022. Meanwhile, the nominees were announced on October 12, 2022.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to veteran actor Ahn Sung Ki this year. Meanwhile, Park Chan Wook’s “Decision to Leave” took home the event’s major awards for the Best Film award, Best Actor, and Best Screenplay.
