How TXT Felt When Left on Stage During BTS Encore Performance?

On August 19, a popular YouTube channel MMTG posted a video where they visited HYBE and ended up meeting TXT. In the video, the host, Jaejae, asked TXT how they felt when left on stage during BTS encore performance in a music show. TXT Beomgyu also imitated how BTS J-Hope greeted him when they met.

TXT felt awkward to be on stage during the BTS encore performance

Although it happened more than two years ago, we can’t forget the awkward moment when TXT was on stage during the BTS encore performance at MCountdown.

In the MMTG video, Jaejae mentioned the event, “Do you remember the time when you were on stage with BTS after they won first place on a music show? You stayed during their encore performance.”

To start about, Jaejae recalled the moment between Soobin and Jin, “At that time, Soobin was captured covering his mouth in extreme happiness when Jin patted him on the shoulder.”

Recalling that moment made all TXT members burst into laughter.

Soobin then continued explaining why TXT was left on stage during the BTS encore performance on MCountdown at that time, “Before we went up the stage, we were actually told not to come down during the encore performance. The staff was like, ‘Stay up there, and celebrate the moment with BTS.’ But as we felt so awkward to do that, we just went down after saying, ‘Congratulations!’ But as the staff sent us back up.”

All members agreed to Soobin’s explanation by giving the same hand sign together.

He also said, “So we just stood in the corner awkwardly, not knowing what to do. We looked at each other and were like, ‘What are we going to do now?'”

Soobin continued, “We thought BTS may have a good idea and looked at them. But they had no idea as well. They were also like, ‘What are we supposed to do?'”

Lastly, Taehyun added, “But then BTS moved toward us and took good care of us.”

Meeting another idol from a different group but within the same agency is not a rare moment. However, there are things we never forget when TXT Beomgyu met BTS J-Hope.

TXT Beomgyu told Jaejae about when he met J-Hope, “He (BTS J-Hope) has his own characteristic.”

Beomgyu continued imitating BTS J-Hope’s energetic way of greeting him.
