Former IZ*ONE Jang Won Young Fully Recovers from COVID-19
After the previous diagnosis and a positive COVID-19 test, former IZ*ONE Jang Won Young can now walk out of the treatment facility, free of the virus!
On September 10, Starship Entertainment posted an official statement confirming Jang Won Young COVID-19 recovery on their social media.
“Hello, this is Starship Entertainment. We would like to inform that Jang Won Young has been declared recovered from Covid-19.”

Jang Won Young Has Completed Her Treatments and COVID-19 Recovery
According to the announcement, Jang Won Young has been receiving treatments in a health facility following guidelines from authorities. After the medical staff has concluded that she will have no more risk of contagion, she can leave her quarantine and facilities.
“Jang Won Young was admitted to a treatment center according to the guidelines of the health authorities, and the medical staff has concluded that there was no more risk of further transmission, so we are able to inform you that her quarantine has been lifted and she has been discharged.”

Jang Won Young Will Be Taking Temporary Break
However, even though former IZ*ONE Jang Won Young finally recovers from her COVID-19 positive test, she will be taking a temporary break. Besides, the company made this decision to follow the health authorities’ guidelines.
“Jang Wonyoung will be taking a break after her discharge, and we will continue to follow the guidelines of the health authorities and make every effort to ensure that the planned schedules are not disrupted.
We also promise to do our best for the health and safety of our artists.”
