Lovelyz is the first Kpop girl group of Woollim Entertainment. The group debuted in November 2014 with their debut song, “Candy Jelly Love.”

Lovelyz consists of eight members: Baby Soul, Jisoo, Mijoo, Jiae, Yein, Kei, Jin, and Sujeong. According to the agency, seven of eight members of Lovelyz are not renewing their contracts and will leave the agency after the exclusive contract end on November 16th, 2021. The members who will leave the agency are Jisoo, Jiae, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong, and Yein. Meanwhile, Baby Soul has renewed her contract.

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.
This is our official statement regarding the expiration of Lovelyz’s exclusive contracts.
The exclusive contract between our company and the group Lovelyz members will expire on November 16th, 2021.
After a long discussion and consideration, seven members of Lovelyz (Yoo Jiae, Seo Ji Soo, Lee Mi Joo, Kei, Jin, Ryu Su Jeong, Jung Ye In) have decided to prepare for another start in a new place; and we decided to respect and support the will of the members.
One of the Lovelyz members, Baby Soul, renewed her contract with us based on the long-standing trust she built with us. As supporters of Baby Soul, who has been with us for a long time, we plan to provide full support for her new leap forward and active promotions.
