On August 4, YG dropped another teaser poster of Blackpink upcoming single. Yet, they have not revealed the artist the quartet will feature. BLINKs are still left with guesses and expectations.

On July 23, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink New Single would be available somewhere in August. The new single will have a featuring mysterious artist.

On July 28, MyDaily reported that the mysterious artist featuring Blackpink would be Selena Gomez. However, YG Entertainment stated, “Please wait for the announcement later.”

Jennie Solo MV Hit 500M Views on YouTube
On the same day as YG Entertainment announced Blackpink new album release date, approximately 4.20 am KST, Solo Music Video surpassed 500million views on YouTube.
Solo is a debut solo single of Jennie, which was released on November 12, 2018. It makes Jennie as the 1st female Kpop soloist to accomplish this feat. It is not an easy way, though. To reach the milestone, it took one year, eight months, and 15 days.
