Choi Woo Shik Possible to Cast in New Variety Show by PD Na Young Suk

As reported earlier, PD Na Young Suk had begun planning for a new restaurant variety show which might be the sequel to “Youn’s Kitchen.”

However, there has yet to be a confirmation about the program’s name. Like, will the new program is the sequel of the previous program, “Youn’s Kitchen,” or a new program with the same concept.

The previous variety show, “Youn’s Kitchen,” is a program where a cast of stars was opening and running a small Korean restaurant overseas, which aimed to introduce Korean cuisine.

In addition, according to the report, Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon are still in discussions to join on PD Na’s new variety show.

Will Choi Woo Shik Make a Comeback on Variety Shows?

On November 5, Newsen reported that actor Choi Woo Shik was offered to appear in the upcoming restaurant variety show by Na Young Suk PD. The actor appeared in the spin-off of “Youn’s Kitchen” in 2021, which was “Youn’s Stay.”

In response to the report, Choi Woo Shik’s agency Management SOOP stated,

“It’s true that our actor [Choi Woo Shik] has been cast for the show. However, he is still in discussions as he is currently working on a project.”

Na Young Suk PD’s new restaurant variety show is scheduled to begin filming in early December. Many fans are expecting the cast from the previous “Youn’s Stay” to reunite in the upcoming new variety show.

Before being cast in “Youn’s Stay,” Choi Woo and Jung Yu Mi worked together in a tv show called “Summer Vacation” (2020). In a couple of episodes, Park Seo Joon came as a guest to their summer house.

And recently, the actor and his BFF – the Wooga Squad – joined a variety show named “In The Soop: Friendcation.”

If he accepts the offer, it will be his comeback on the variety show.

Lee Chang Hee, the director of “Strangers from Hell,” will be directing the upcoming series. Meanwhile, writer Kim Da Min will write the script. In addition, the series is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.

Synopsis
