On January 31, Nam Joo Hyuk’s Management SOOP agency representative released an official statement that the actor will be enlisting for mandatory military service next month.

Previously, the agency confirmed that Nam Joo Hyuk had completed filming his new drama, Vigilante. And since his military service enlistment date is starting soon, Nam Joo Hyuk confirmed to have no follow-up schedule at the moment.

Enlisting as a Member of the Military Police Force

What is more exciting and extraordinary about Nam Joo Hyuk’s mandatory military service is that he will be enlisting as a member of the South Korean Military Police Force.

In the official statement, Nam Joo Hyuk’s agency declared that the actor had been accepted to enlist in the military police force. He previously applied for mandatory military service to The Capital Defense Command Military Police Group in May last year. And today, he has successfully enlisted.
