HELLBOUND Actor Yoo Ah In Drugs Scandal Escalated
After the previous detection of using propofol illegally, Hellbound actor Yoo Ah In drugs scandal is now escalating to a more severe level.
TV Chosun reported on March 1 that after testing a sample of Yoo Ah In’s hair, the result stated that he had been using multiple substances in addition to the previously reported propofol.
South Korean police began investigating Yoo Ah In after raiding the Hellbound actor at the Incheon International Airport last month. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety then requested an official investigation after the officials detected the actor’s habitual use of propofol.
Various clinics and doctor’s offices in Seoul have been under severe investigation for suspicions of illegally administering drugs to Yoo Ah In since 2021.
Yoo Ah In Drugs Scandal: Positive for Propofol, Marijuana, Ketamine, and Cocaine
Further in the exclusive report, TV Chosun revealed that Yoo Ah In drugs scandal escalated to multiple substances.
Previously on February 10, South Korean police officially announced that Yoo Ah In had tested positive for marijuana. At the time, the actor underwent urine testing, which resulted in the detection of marijuana in addition to propofol.
Today, after examining Yoo Ah In’s hair sample, apparently more substances appeared in the test result. Along with propofol and marijuana, Hellbound actor Yoo Ah In was also positive for the illegal use of ketamine and cocaine. This test result received a confirmation from the South Korean National Forensic Service. Therefore, Yoo Ah In is now positive for illegally abusing four types of drugs: propofol, marijuana, ketamine, and cocaine.
Responding to Yoo Ah In drugs scandal, Netflix previously stated that they were under discussion with the projects’ representatives about the actor’s upcoming projects, including Hellbound 2.

Most Dangerous Substances
The latest updates of Yoo Ah In drugs scandal is deemed the most concerning, as Ketamine and Cocaine are substances with a severe level of addiction.
Ketamine is originally a general anesthetic. However, the South Korean government classified the substance as drug in 2006 due to concerns about misuse.
But the most dangerous substance detected in Yoo Ah In’s body is cocaine. As one of the top 3 most dangerous drugs, abuse of cocaine will lead users to powerful hallucinations and severe addictions. The Director of the Drug Addiction Clinic even stated that once someone used cocaine, it would immediately result in extreme changes in the nervous system.
Finally, the police has seized Yoo Ah In’s ketamine prescription record during the seizures. They are now investigating whether the Hellbound actor abused the drugs habitually.
