On May 13, XG captivated KCON Japan 2023 audiences with a powerful performance. As this was the first performance of XG in Japan, it attracted a lot of attention once the KCON lineup was announced. Fans took to social media to show their excitement.
XG Performance at KCON JAPAN 2023
On the day of the event, Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona surprised fans with an unexpected appearance at the convention area. Fans showed their excitement, exclaiming, “They’re real!” “I witnessed them with my own eyes!” and more.
XG opened the stage in Makuhari Messe with SHOOTING STAR, one of their hit singles released earlier this year. In particular, all the members hit the stage, wearing effortlessly stylish matching outfits and sunglasses. The audience kept cheering enthusiastically to herald the birth of a legendary stage with the qualifier “Sunglasses stage.”
XG continued their spectacular performance with LEFT RIGHT, XG’s single that successfully maintained its position on the US Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart for ten consecutive weeks.
The global girl group also expressed their gratitude to the audience.
