April 2024 Top 100 Korean Singer Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korea Business Research Institute analyzed 101,219,103 singer-brand data points from March 27 to April 27, 2024, indicating a 3.27% increase compared to March’s 98,012,844 singer-brand data points. The analysis focused on consumer behavior, examining indices such as brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement to determine the singers’ latest brand value and rank for this month.

Consequently, Korean beloved trot singer Lim Young Woong maintained the top rank, with BIBI, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, and Day6 rounding out the top five for this month’s top-ranking Korean singers. Here is the list of the most popular Korean singers from February to April 2024.

1. Lim Young Woong

Korean beloved trot singer Lim Young Woong, known for fostering a culture that evolves with fans, maintained the top spot with a brand value of 6,573,957. Despite retaining the leading position, his brand value saw a 5.53% decrease from last March’s 6,958,810. These changes were reflected in the following indices: 

• Participation Index: 1,494,131
• Media Index: 1,884,549
• Communication Index: 1,686,422
• Community Index: 1,508,855

2. BIBI

Singer BIBI, acclaimed for setting trends across various fields and set to star in the drama series “The Fiery Priest” Season 2, secured the second position this month. Her brand value surged by 38.85%, increasing from 4,518,031 in March to 6,273,381 in April, as supported by the following indices:

• Media Index 1,565,204
• Communication Index 1,759,222
• Community Index 1,745,26

3. ILLIT

Rookie idol group ILLIT, emerging as a new icon, debuted on the list, securing the third position in this month’s rankings. This female rookie group, having topped April’s Kpop girl group brand rankings, attained a brand value of 5,740,523, as demonstrated by the following indices:

• Participation Index: 1,253,982
• Media Index: 1,320,021
• Communication index: 1,536,000
• Community Index: 1,630,520

4. (G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE, the Kpop girl group known for its solid skills, secured the fourth position this month with a brand value of 3,601,476. Compared to the brand reputation index of 3,315,968 last March, it rose 8.61%, as shown by the following indices:

5. Day6

Kpop boy group Day6, who made an impressive comeback with their 8th EP “FOUREVER,” soared to the fifth position this month. The group’s brand value surged by 263.06%, climbing from 896,756 last March to 3,255,793 this April.
