Spotify and BTS RM open their letterbox for ARMYs worldwide! Send your heartfelt ‘Playlist Letter to RM’ as part of the special event by Spotify for RM’s upcoming solo album “Right Place Wrong Person.”
“Right Place Wrong Person” – BTS RM Solo Album Release
Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, is gearing up for his second solo album, “Right Place Wrong Person.” ARMYs worldwide have been abuzz since the announcement.
Moreover, the album’s pre-release single, “Come Back to Me,” is now on Spotify’s Global Daily Top Songs chart. Since its drop on May 10, the track has amassed over 15 million Spotify streams.
The album, featuring 11 songs, is set to be released on May 24, 2024, during RM’s military service period. The multitalented idol has been releasing content anticipating his solo comeback, starting with the pre-release song “Come Back to Me,” concept photos, and the tracklist.
The concept photos evoke the style of pictures taken with a disposable camera. RM is captured in straightforward settings in Tokyo — a parking lot, beside a tree, and on a swing set at a playground — looking directly at the camera and sometimes offering a smile.

The artwork aims to depict RM as an “ordinary person in familiar, everyday environments, enjoying moments of freedom — a shift from his glitzy stage persona.”
This theme aligns with the content of “Right Place, Wrong Person,” which reflects RM’s emotions of feeling like “an outsider who doesn’t fit in,” as mentioned in last month’s album announcement on Weverse.
