About Our Guest: Alex Ross
Alex Ross began his career in the music industry at Mama Kin, a Boston club owned by Aerosmith. His passion for live music was ignited during his college days when he worked at several nightclubs owned by the Lyons Group. After college, Ross joined Don Law Company, now part of Live Nation Boston, where his hard work and aggressive approach quickly earned him a promotion to booking agent. He worked with notable acts like Howie Day, Pete Yorn, and Godsmack.
In 2001, Ross founded Supreme Entertainment Artists (SEA), aiming to take greater risks and exercise more careful selection of clients. This approach allowed him to provide exceptional service and commitment to his artists. Ross was instrumental in discovering talents like Maroon 5, Sugarland, and Jesse McCartney, helping them achieve multi-platinum success. Known for balancing a roster of established artists and promising new bands, Ross has established himself as one of the most respected agents in the music industry.
Over the years, SEA has represented various artists, including Eve 6, Lit, and Jennifer Nettles. The agency is known for organizing large touring festivals like Make America Rock and Pop 2000, which have sold hundreds of thousands of tickets. In 2018, SEA expanded its offerings by creating the Pop-Up Party Tours, producing alternative-themed entertainment. SEA also provides expert consulting services for show planning and tour routing throughout North America.
