RIIZE Grows over 40% Monthly Streams
Previously, in April, Spotify announced that it had selected RIIZE as the first Kpop boy group in RADAR KOREA. Since the group entered the RADAR program, the group has seen a 13% increase in monthly Spotify listeners. Meanwhile, RIIZE monthly streams have increased by over 40%.
Since their debut, RIIZE has amassed more than 210 million Spotify streams. The group’s most-streamed tracks include “Get A Guitar,” “Memories,” “Love 119,” “Talk Saxy,” and “Impossible.” Meanwhile, the top most-streamed countries are Japan, Indonesia, the USA, the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, and Canada.
Also, as of May 31, over 3 million lister-generated playlists include at least one RIIZE track. It has risen 12% since joining RADAR Korea. The growth shows how Spotify plays a pivotal role in catapulting the growth of rising talent.
“It’s been thrilling to witness the growth of RIIZE as a RADAR artist. We look forward to continuing our journey with them and showcasing their diverse appeal to more listeners and fans worldwide. Through the RADAR program, Spotify aims to support various Korean artists in reaching and connecting with more listeners around the world.”
Jungjoo Park, Spotify’s Head of Music, South Korea.
Furthermore, monthly Spotify listeners and streams can still grow. RADAR artists have been featured on over 5,000 Spotify editorial playlists and, on average, tracked 40% growth in monthly listeners and increased streams by over 30% in the six months since entering the program.
