June 2025 K-Pop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings: #1 BTS
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 84,049,295 pieces of K-pop idol group brand big data from May 19 to June 19, 2025—a 6.58% increase from the 78,857,284 idol group brand big data in May.
According to the analysis results, BTS, SEVENTEEN, BLACKPINK, IVE, and BIGBANG secured positions in the top 5 of June 2025’s K-pop idol group brand rankings.
BTS Extends #1 Streak to 3 Months on K-Pop Brand Rankings
BigHit Music’s K-pop boy group BTS held onto the top position on the K-pop idol brand reputation rankings for three consecutive months as of June 2025. Excitement is building as fans anticipate the reunion of all BTS members this month, coinciding with the global group’s 12th anniversary on June 13—celebrated through BTS Festa 2025.
Beyond the anniversary festivities, ARMYs are celebrating the members’ return from military service, with RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook officially discharged on June 10 and 11.
Adding to the momentum, Jin and J-hope excite fans through solo projects. J-hope concluded his world tour with a two-day “Hope On Stage Final” at Goyang Stadium—attended by all six members on the first night, while Jin, after releasing his new EP “Echo,” will kick off his solo concert, “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,” at the same venue on June 28, 2025.

K-pop boy group BTS, whose members will reunite after completing their military service this month, ranked first in this month’s K-pop idol group brand rankings. The group has now topped the rankings for three consecutive months since April 2025, achieving a brand reputation index of 6,968,708 in June—a 4.22% increase from the brand reputation index of 6,686,614 in May.
Further, in link analysis, the institute found the terms’ military discharge,’ ‘12th anniversary,’ and ‘celebrate’ emerged as the group’s most popular related terms. Keyword analysis showed ‘full group,’ ‘FESTA,’ and ‘ARMY’ as top trends. Additionally, the group received an impressive positive 92.09% favorable response in sentiment analysis.
SEVENTEEN jumped to second place this month following their exciting comeback on screen with the new variety show “NANA bnb.” The group’s brand reputation index skyrocketed 39.05 % from 4,310,647 in May to 5,993,949 in June.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK slipped to third place as they prepare for their upcoming “DEADLINE” World Tour 2025-2026 in July. The four-member group’s index declined 13.19% from 4,783,316 in May to 4,152,491 in June.
IVE also saw a drop, falling to fourth place despite releasing new content “1.2.3 IVE.” Falling 21.82% from 4,642,151 in May, the group achieved a brand reputation index of 3,629,408 in June.
K-pop group BIGBANG concluded the top five K-pop idol groups for this month. They achieved a brand reputation index of 2,730,536 in June, falling 14.70% from 3,200,984 in May.
