The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 61,290,920 pieces of brand big data from 20 popular dramas from June 8 to July 8, 2025. This marks a 1.80% decrease from the 62,416,418 pieces of drama brand big data recorded in June.
Based on the analysis results, “Squid Game Season 3” claimed the top spot in the Korean drama brand reputation ranking for July 2025, with a brand reputation index of 7,984,003. The gripping show, which debuted on June 27, achieved a new Netflix streaming record with 60.1 million views in its first three days. It also became the first Netflix series to debut at No. 1 in 93 countries during its premiere week.
Rounding out the top five after “Squid Game 3” were “Our Unwritten Seoul,” “Mercy for None,” “Good Boy,” and “For Eagle Brothers,” in the Korean drama brand reputation rankings for July 2025.

Korean Drama Actor Rankings for July 2025
Meanwhile, for Korean drama actors, the institute analyzed 80,716,732 pieces of brand big data for 50 actors starring in dramas aired from June 10 to July 10, 2025. This shows a 4.35% increase from the 77,349,810 pieces recorded in the previous month.
Lee Jung Jae, known for his role as Seong Gi-hun (Player 456) in “Squid Game,” ranked first in the Korean drama brand reputation rankings for July. He achieved a brand reputation index of 4,570,622 for this month.
Rounding out the top five in the Korean drama actor brand reputation rankings for July 2025 were Choo Young Woo, Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Gum, and Park Bo Young.
Choo Young-woo, known for his roles in “Mercy for None” and “Head Over Heels,” claimed second place with a brand reputation index of 3,564,383.
Lee Byung-hun, known as the Squid Game’s Frontman, took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,564,274.
Park Bo-gum, who captivated audiences as a former boxer-turned-police officer in “Good Boy,” secured fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,402,622.
Park Bo-young, praised for her dual roles in “Our Unwritten Seoul,” completed the top five rankings, achieving a brand reputation index of 3,295,979.
