FUNdex Awards 2025 Nominees: Full List + How to Vote

What Makes This Year’s FUNdex Awards Different
The 2025 FUNdex Awards just announced its nominees. Good Data Corporation hosts this year’s ceremony, with Megazone Cloud and Pentacle as sponsors. A total of 593 programs made the cut across 21 categories—but here’s what makes this different: zero subjective judging.
Winners emerge from pure data analysis. Your late-night binge-watches, your searches, your social media engagement. All of it becomes a measurable impact.
Good Data tracks buzz rankings, search activity, entertainment intensity scores, and performer competitiveness. An advisory committee ensures the process remains transparent, reviewing how data is collected without influencing creative decisions.
FUNdex Awards 2025—Global Netizen Popular Star Prize Voting
In addition to 18 competitive categories and 3 non-competitive awards, they also have two new categories this year. The Data PD Award recognizes behind-the-scenes excellence, while the Sponsor Popularity Award lets you vote directly for your favorites through online polls. That’s right—your click becomes your ballot.
Voting will take place on Idol Champ and Celeb Champ, starting from November 12 to December 1, 2025 (voting closes at 11:59:59 p.m.). The final results are determined by equally weighing votes from both platforms — 50% Celeb Champ + 50% Idol Champ = 100% Final Result.
Date, Venue, and Where to Stream
Mark your calendar: December 18, 2025. The 2025 FUNdex Awards streams live from the Megazone Industry-Academia-Research Center Auditorium in Gwacheon. You don’t need exclusive tickets or cable subscriptions to watch your favorites win. Head to the official FUNdex YouTube channel to watch the whole ceremony.
The Nominees Who Are Sweeping Categories
Park Bo-gum dominates this year’s nominations with an impressive triple threat. He’s up for TV Drama Male Lead for “Good Boy,” OTT Original Drama Male Lead for “When Life Gives You Tangerines” with IU, and TV Season/Mini Variety Show Cast for “The Seasons: Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile.” That’s three completely different formats showcasing his range as both actor and host.
His co-star IU earned her nomination for OTT Original Drama Female Lead, setting up a potential reunion moment if both take home trophies. Fans on social media are already calling it—these two might share another smile on stage, just like at their press conference.
YoonA (Lim Yoon-ah) joins the competition for TV Drama Female Lead with “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.” She faces powerhouse actresses Park Bo-young (“Our Unwritten Seoul”), Go Youn-jung (“Resident Playbook”), Cho Yi-hyun (“Head Over Heels”), and Han Ji-min (“Love Scout”). Lee Chae-min earned his TV Drama Male Lead nomination for the same historical drama, proving the show captured both critical buzz and audience attention.
The supporting cast categories tell an interesting story. Kang Yoo-seok appears twice—once for TV Drama Supporting in “Resident Playbook” and again for OTT Original Drama Supporting in “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” Lee Jun-young also scored double nominations in the OTT supporting category for “Weak Hero Class 2” and “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”
Fresh Faces Challenge Established Names Across All Categories
Look beyond the headlines and you’ll spot exciting patterns. “Resident Playbook” dominates with multiple cast members nominated across different categories.
Rookie Ji Ye-eun from “Running Man” stands alongside veteran Yoo Jae-suk in the TV Steady Variety category. BTS member Jin, who made his debut on Netflix K-show with “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” competes in OTT Original Shows.
This mix of veterans and newcomers shows the industry keeps evolving. Your viewing choices are literally shaping who gets recognized and what content gets made next.
