The Escape from Mogadishu actor Jo In Sung has been cast to star in the new sci-fi movie HOPE.
Actor Jo In Sung In Talks for New Sci-Fi Movie HOPE
Korean news media Hankook Ilbo reported that Korean actor Jo In Sung has received an offer for a new Sci-Fi movie, Hope. In the upcoming film, he may work alongside actor Hwang Jung Min of Narco Saints, who was also previously in talks.
Moreover, director Na Hong Jin of The Chaser will direct the upcoming Hope Korean movie. And it will be the director’s second comeback movie in 2023 after The Wailing (2016), which attracted 6.87 million moviegoers, and the upcoming film The Faith (2023).
In response to the report, Jo In Sung’s agency IOK Company shared that the upcoming Korean movie Hope is one of the offered projects to the actor and is currently under review.
Hope Korean movie depicts the events following the appearance of aliens in a small town.
However, there are still no details regarding the possible character Jo In-Sung will play or the release date.
Jo In Sung Movies and Dramas
Korean actor Jo In-Sung has demonstrated his powerful acting skills through various works. Some of Jo In Sung’s famous movies include The Classic (2003), The Great Battle (2018), and Escape from Mogadishu (2021).
Meanwhile, Jo In Sung’s dramas that are also popular include Shoot for the Stars (2002), This Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), and It’s Ok, That’s Love (2014).
The Escape from Mogadishu actor’s recent film project is called Smugglers. It is a stellar movie starring Jo In-Sung, Kim Hye So, Yeom Jong Ah, Park Jung Min, Kim Jong Soo, and Go Min Si as the cast. The action-crime movie will hit the cinema this summer.
The Unexpected Business star will also make a comeback on the small screen with Moving Korean drama. The Korean action-fantasy drama Moving is a star-studded drama with a budget of 50 billion KRW. The actor will play the character of a NIS agent who can fly. Jo In Sung’s new drama, Moving, is a highly anticipated Korean drama that will air on Disney+ in August.
