On October 19, Korean media outlets reported that actor Kim Seon Ho might comeback to acting in the new Korean drama “Hash’s Shinru.”

It is based on the famous web novel of the same name, “Hash’s Shinru.” The web novel created by Yoo Si Yoo and has surpassed 50 million views. Author Yoo Si Yoo will also write the script for the upcoming drama.

Author Yoo Si Yoo is recognized for her award-winning historical drama web novel and script, “Love In The Moonlight” (2016), starring Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung.

In response to the reports, a representative from SALT Entertainment, Kim Seon Ho’s agency, stated,

“Actor Kim Seon-ho has received an offer to appear in the drama ‘Hash’s Shinru,’ and he is positively in talks.”

The historical romance drama of “Hash’s Shinru” takes place in the era of King Sejong’s dynasty. It’s also known as the “Renaissance of Joseon.” The story will follow the love story between Crown Prince Lee Hyang and a mysterious woman with an extraordinary ability to predict the future, Hae Ru.

Kim Seon Ho received an offer to play the role of Crown Prince Lee Hyang. He is a genius scientist who loves constellations. And if the actor accepts the role, the upcoming drama will be his second historical drama after tvN’s ‘100 Days My Prince.” In addition, the upcoming drama “Hash’s Shinru” will start filming after completing the cast lineup.

Kim Seon Ho to Appear in a New Movie “Tyrant” and 2022 Asia Artist Awards (AAA)

Kim Seon Ho’s last drama was the hit drama “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” last year. Afterward, the actor only focused on his play “Touching the Void” and his movie debut “Sad Tropics.” The actor’s action noir movie debut is expected to be released at the end of 2022 or early 2023.

Besides being in talks for a new drama, Kim Seonho also surprised his fans with more exciting news. According to Korean media outlets, the actor will be teaming up with Director Park Hoon Jung again for a new film titled, “Tyrant.” Yet, there is no further detail about the movie and cast lineup.

Kim Seonho recently won the Outstanding Korean Actor at the 2022 Seoul International Drama Awards. And to greet his loyal fans, the actor will hold a domestic fan meeting on December 10, 2022. In addition, the actor will attend the 2022 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) along with Seo In Guk, Hwang Minhyun, Lee Jae Wook, and Kang Daniel, which will take place in Japan in December 2022.
