After dropping out of the upcoming webtoon drama, “Again My Life”, actor Lee Kyu Han finally fulfills his promise to his fans. He openly shared what really happens behind the assault issue haunting him and causing his panic attack to worsen.
On January 27, Korean media reported that the Seoul District Prosecutor Office decided to acquit “She Would Never Know” actor Lee Kyu Han for his assault charges. According to his legal representatives, the prosecutor dismissed all charges against Lee Kyu Han during the investigation because of insufficient evidence.
FULL Story of the Alleged Assault Issue
Previously, actor Lee Kyu Han explained that he had to drop out of his upcoming projects because his panic disorder had worsened after the assault charges that had been going on since August 2020.
At the time, the charges mentioned that actor Lee Kyu Han and his friends got drunk and hired chauffeur service. During the time when the driver was escorting them, the driver claimed that Lee Kyu Han and his friends started provoking. Then, the driver stated that their provoke escalated to physical attack and assault. Therefore, the driver decided to file an investigation request.
Due to the case dragging for over a year, it caused Lee Kyu Han’s health worsened. According to his close representative, he had suffered from health issues since April 2021. Therefore, he was unable to continue acting.
In his previous statement, actor Lee Kyu Han also explained that because he didn’t belong to any agency, reporters had been calling him directly. That is why it caused his panic disorder to escalate.

Finally, once the prosecutor office cleared all the assault charges against him, actor Lee Kyu Han fulfilled his promise by posting an apology and explanation on Instagram. He apologized for his canceled projects due to the incident and thanked everyone who supported him.
“Hello, this is Lee Kyu Han.
It took a year and a half to get this result, and I thought it was the only reasonable option.
Now I am very overwhelmed with emotion. However, I also think I should have been more careful as a celebrity. I apologize sincerely to everyone participating in the projects I caused trouble with this incident.
Also, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who had trusted me, worried about me, and supported me from the beginning to the end.
