Lo and behold, actor Son Suk Ku will spread his wings wider in the Korean entertainment industry! After building impressive reputations with his previous dramas: Jirisan, My Liberation Notes, and D.P., it is time for the Korean theater industry to experience his stunning presence and powerful acting once again.
On December 16, Korean media reported that Son Suk Ku would star in the upcoming Korean play, ARMY ON A TREE. His agency, SBD Entertainment, confirmed his appearance to Korean TV media and said they were currently under preparation.

What is ARMY ON A TREE Korean Play About?
ARMY ON A TREE is a Korean play project based on the work of the late Japanese writer Hisashi Inoue. It tells the story of a veteran soldier and a recruit who had spent 2 years together climbing a tree to avoid enemy attacks during the war.
According to the Korean report, Son Suk Ku will be playing the role of the army recruit in the upcoming Korean play.
Previously, this project was brought to life in January to February 2016 at the Seoul Arts Center. Today, we would be able to see a different version of the play with Son Suk Ku as one of its main characters.
A Personal Reason
Furthermore, the report also mentioned that actor Son Suk Ku decided to appear in the upcoming Korean play for a personal reason. Although, according to the actor, there is no particular or iconic cause of his appearance in the play, he chose to do so simply because he liked the project.
“I have no specific reason as to why I decided to appear in the play. I wanted to do it simply because I liked the work.” .
