BTS SUGA and his rapper persona Agust D has finally marked his name in history as a solo artist, following BTS solo activities in Chapter 2.

On April 22, Yonhap News reported that BTS SUGA’s alter persona Agust D had recorded the largest first-day sales with his latest D-DAY album. According to multiple sources in the music industry BTS SUGA has reached approximately 1.07 million sales for the D-DAY album within 24 hours after its release date on April 21.

With this extraordinary sales record, BTS SUGA now holds the highest first-day album sales by a solo artist in Hanteo history. Previously, this title belonged to SUGA’s fellow BTS member and vocalist Jimin, with 1.02 million sales of his FACE album.
