KiiiKiii Leads the Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings for April 2025
From March 1 to April 1, 2025, the Korean Business Research Institute extracted 10,214,043 brand big data of new Kpop idol group brands, which consist of boy groups and girls groups who debuted after 2023. The number decreased by 34.63 percent from 15,625,750 rookie idol group brand big data in March.
Further, the institute performed consumer behavior analysis using April’s brand big data. This analysis measured the participation, media, communication, and community indexes to obtain the rookie groups’ brand reputation index. Based on the results, they established brand reputation rankings for April 2025.
According to the results, KiiiKiii, Hearts2Hearts, TWS, BABYMONSTER, and RESCENE dominated the top five rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for April 2025. Find below the top 30 rookie Kpop groups in February, March, and April 2025.

1. KiiiKiii
Starship Entertainment’s rookie girl group KiiiKiii, who debuted on March 24, 2025, with extended play “UNCUT GEM,” led the rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for the second consecutive month. The girl group has stolen Kpop fans’ attention with their pre-debut song “I Do Me,” released on February 24. With soaring popularity, the new girl group became the first ambassador of Kakao Bank for Kakao Bank Mini, targeting teenagers.
In addition, KiiiKiii recently released a new MV for “BTG.” With this release, the group received much attention from fans and achieved a brand reputation index of 2,359,448. This figure increased by 48.18 percent from the brand reputation index of 1,592,255 in March. Here is a breakdown of the latest brand reputation index:
- Participation Index: 480,632
- Media Index: 471,377
- Communication Index: 784,456
- Community Index: 622,983
In link analysis, the institute found “hip,” “Gen Z-esque,” and “natural” to be KiiiKiii’s most popular related terms. In keyword analysis, the group’s most popular keywords were “I DO ME,” “Gen Z aesthetic,” and “UNCUT GEM.” In addition, they reached a positive score of 85.04 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. Hearts2Hearts
New Kpop girl group Hearts2Hearts remained second this April. The group has captivated Kpop fans since their debut on February 24, with their lead single “The Chase” from their single album of the same name.
The group made a record with 408,880 copies in its first week (February 24 to March 2, 2025), surpassing BABYMONSTER with 401,287 copies sold of their mini-album BABYMONS7ER in April 2024. In addition, “The Chase” sold 231,648 copies on its debut day (February 24, 2025), marking the second highest-selling K-pop girl group album on its first day after NewJeans, with 262,815 copies sold of their debut album.
The group’s brand reputation index increased by 58.66 percent. It rose from 1,407,391 in March to 2,232,975 in April, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 591,628
- Communication Index: 586,998
- Community Index: 485,754
3. TWS
Rookie boy group TWS, who is gearing up for a comeback with their third EP, “TRY WITH US,” later on April 21, rose to the third position. Despite rising in ranking, the group’s brand reputation index fell by 44.18 percent, declining from 1,158,155 in March to 646,465 in April, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 141,943
- Communication Index: 194,637
- Community Index: 207,082
4. BABYMONSTER
The Kpop group BABYMONSTER, who recently celebrated their first anniversary and teamed up with PUBG Mobile, secured fourth place. This month, the group experienced a significant decrease of 53.97 percent on the brand reputation index. It decreased from 1,321,329 in March to 608,218 in April, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 143,393
- Communication Index: 197,912
- Community Index: 156,172
5. RESCENE
The Muze Entertainment’s new Kpop girl group, RESCENE, concluded this month’s top rookie Kpop idol group rankings. RESCENE’s song “LOVE ATTACK” recently resurfaced on social media. “LOVE ATTACK” rose to No. 131 in about three weeks after holding at No. 967 on Melon’s daily chart on February 16, achieving tremendous success with 31,620 daily listeners. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 12.71 percent this month. It increased from 466,055 in March to 525,285 in April, with the breakdown:

- Media Index: 145,392
- Communication Index: 105,268
