A shocking news came from BTS’s entertainment agency. Today, HYBE announced that Bang Si Hyuk will resign from his position as the CEO, and focus on music production.
Bang Si Hyuk Resign from His Position as the CEO of HYBE
According to Korean media report, Bang Si Hyuk has decided to resign from his position as HYBE CEO to focus on music production.
On July 1, HYBE announced that the prominent BTS’ Bang PD has stepped down as the CEO of the company.
On the other hand, Bang Si Hyuk will still resume his position as the Chairman of the HYBE board of directors. And although he would no longer participate in the company’s management as the CEO, Bang Si Hyuk would put all his efforts and dedication towards music production.

Park Ji Won Appointed as New CEO of HYBE
Regarding the new HYBE management, reports mentioned that the new HYBE CEO position now belongs to the former CEO of HYBE HQ, Park Ji Won.
Furthermore, Lenzo Yoon and Scooter Braun will lead as the CEOs of HYBE America, following the acquisition of Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings.
And finally, the newly established HYBE Japan will be directed by the former CEO of HYBE Solutions Japan, Han Hyun Rok, as its new CEO.
