Big Hit, YG, Universal Music, & Kiswe Mobile Join Forces in "VenewLive"

YG Entertainment and Universal Music Group (UMG) have invested in titled “VenewLive.” It means four global powerhouse companies; Big Hit Entertainment, Kiswe Mobile, YG Entertainment, and Universal Music group join forces to launch a new global digital live streaming platform.

Earlier in May 2020, Big Hit and Kiswe signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). Then, they launched their joint company, KBYK Live, in September 2020.

Within a month, they launched a digital live-streaming content platform called “VenewLive.” Big Hit Entertainment artists have held their online concerts by using this platform.

As reported on Feb 10, YG and UMG have joined as joint investors in KBYK Live. Together with Big Hit Entertainment and Kiswe, they will launch the “VenewLive” platform globally. It will full of various musicians and agency artists.

Big Hit’s representative stated, ” VenewLive will become a more significant innovative platform with YG and UMG in KBYK Live. It will hold top global artists’ concerts from Big Hit, YG, and UMG.

Moreover, the show will be in multi-view live streaming. Also, Kiswe will support the show with high-level innovative technologies.

The advanced technology aims to provide unique content for each artist. The platform also provides fans with a diverse concert experience that includes various performance elements in digital concerts.

Furthermore, it will include different social interactive functions, such as concert transmission, purchase of official merchandise, and live chat.

VenewLive has held BTS’s online concerts, “BANG BANG CON: The Live” in June and “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON: E” in October. With almost 1 million viewers worldwide, the concert has shown stable audio and video performance.

This concert also supports 4K / HD services and multi-view streaming. The fans can see the artists on stage from different angles. Moreover, there are interactive functions like live chat and a Bluetooth connection with a light stick.

Previously in 2020, VenewLive held online concerts for various artists from Big Hit Labels. Such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, ENHYPEN, and including their New Year’s Live.
