JTBC’s upcoming Korean drama Snowdrop tells the love story between Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) and Eun Young Cho (Kim Ji Soo). In this Kdrama, Blackpink Jisoo and Jung Hae In will act together as the lead actors.

Yoo Hyun Mi writes the story, and Jo Hyun Tak will direct it. Previously, both of them worked together with Kim Hye Yoon and Yoon See Ah on JTBC popular drama, Sky Castle.

KDrama Snowdrop Plot

Set in 1987 as the background of the story, Kdrama Snowdrop tells about the love story of Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) and Eun Young Cho (Jisoo Blackpink).

Im Soo Ho is a well-known university student who grew up in Germany. But, one day Soo Ho broke into a female dormitory covered in blood. At that time, he met Eun Young Cho, a cheerful and loveable girl. Moreover, she is taking care of his wounds while he is in a hideout and develop a romantic relationship.

He didn’t notice that they had met before at a blind date, where she had fallen in love at first sight. Further, when the incident happened, Kye Boon Ok (Kim Hye Yoon) accidentally got involved when she visited her friend, Eun Young Cho.

KDrama Snowdrop Release date

Korean drama Snowdrop is scheduled to air on JTBC. However, the official release date for Snowdrop has not been revealed. On October 5t, JTBC announced that the series would be premiering at some time (either the spring or summer) in 2021.

Yoon Se-ah will act as Pi Seung-hee, the strict and terrifying the landlady of Eun Young Cho’s dorm.

Jang Seung Jo

Jang Seung Jo will act as Lee Kang-moo, National Intelligence Service (NIS)’s Team 1 head. He is a man of principle who doesn’t compromise in any situation and insists on doing everything by the book.

Kim Hye Yoon

Kim Hye Yoon will act as Kye Boon Ok, Eun Young Cho’s friend, the dorm’s phone operator who had to let go of her college education due to her family’s financial condition.

Jung Yoo Jin
