Several KPop idols received death threats from anti-fans and sasaeng in these couple of months. Those idols are Blackpink Lisa, BTS Jimin, and Twice Nayeon. With the success of their careers as KPop idols, they have become more popular. Although the number of fans is multiplying, they also gain more haters or anti-fans.
BLACKPINK Lisa, BTS Jimin, and TWICE Nayeon Receive Death Threats
BLACKPINK Lisa’s Death Threats
In June 2020, YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK will return with a new album. This great news has made many BLINKs thrilled after their last album “Kill This Love” released in April 2019.
Unfortunately, after the great news, there are death threats towards one of the Blackpink members, Lisa Manoban a.k.a Blackpink Lisa. She is one of the kpop idols with high popularity as a singer, a fashion model, a brand representative, and a professional dance mentor who continues to shine like a star.
Those death threats were sent through online posts of @Ma0be554 on Twitter and @iu_andlisa_bich on Instagram.

Many of Blackpink Lisa’s fans are worried about her safety due to death threats. Since Blackpink Lisa is a Thai by nationality, many of her fans reported this matter to Royal Thai Embassy and YG Entertainment.
Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul alerts YG Entertainment regarding the death threats towards Blackpink Lisa.
“From May 2 to 6, we have received many e-mails and Direct Messages on Twitter, reporting the online and concerns about the death threats towards Lisa Manoban. We have notified her agency, YG Entertainment, about the matter via social media.”

We are aware of current issues, and we are not only carrying out constant monitoring but also collecting the information from fans and conducting in-depth reviews. We will take firm action against these threats.”

BTS Jimin’s Death Threats
Previously, on April 15, BTS Jimin was on Vlive together with BTS RM making Dalgona coffee. During the live show, there were many comments from the ARMYs.
Among those comments, there was a threatening comment from someone unknown that directed to BTS RM and BTS Jimin. It says, “I’ll hire a hitman to kill you both if you come to the US.”

Although this is not the first time that BTS received a death threat, ARMYs are very concerned about the safety of BTS members. Especially BTS Jimin, as he has been threatened several times in the past. The BTS’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, has not yet issued any official statements about the threat.
TWICE Nayeon’s Death Threats
If Blackpink Lisa, BTS RM, and BTS Jimin threatened by anti-fans, Twice Nayeon threatened by a male sasaeng or a crazy fan named Joshua. The foreign sasaeng claims that he falls in love with the KPop idol, Twice Nayeon, and he is not a fan of KPop girl group TWICE.
But what he did to approach Twice Nayeon was allegedly threatened the K-pop star’s privacy and safety. Through his video on YouTube, he went to places that Twice Nayeon ever or often visit, like the JYP Entertainment building, dorm, private house in Cheongdam-dong.
JYP took a firm action by sending him to his country, Germany. Few months after he went back to his country, he released an audio clip that has indirectly issued death threats. The voice message was shared on Twitter by one of Nayeon’s fans.

The transcript of his voice message: “Only who cares for me is my brother. Even my friends don’t care. The thing is if people could realize that this is a life and death situation in which me and Nayeon might die soon. And this is not a joke. Me and Nayeon might die soon if she keeps ignoring me, and the fake news will brainwash her. When I give up, then what will happen is we both will die. We will be dead. People don’t understand this. It is extremely serious.”
Previously in October 2019, he came to South Korea to meet Nayeon. He also had already warned by the agency, but he never stops. To protect the artists’ privacy and safety, JYP announced the Intensified Blacklist Rules. JYP Entertainment has put Josh on the blacklist from TWICE’s activities outside or inside South Korea. The Immigration Service also has instructed to decline his arrival in South Korea.
If he tries to contact you during his search for Nayeon in SNS or in-person, you can report it to fan@jype.com for further investigation and pass the information on to the authorities.
