BLACKPINK x PUBG Collaboration: BLACKPINK in Your Battlegrounds

Approaching their 5^th anniversary, BLACKPINK surprises their gamer BLINKs by making a collaboration event with one of the most prominent games, PUBG, with a tagline: BLACKPINK IN YOUR BATTLEGROUNDS.

BLACKPINK x PUBG Collaboration Event

The phenomenal Kpop girl group, BLACKPINK, seems to never run out of surprises for BLINKS these days. After announcing BLACKPINK The Movie project, the group now makes a collaboration event with the famous survival game, PUBG.

BLACKPINK in Your Battlegrounds

Previously on August 1, PUBG’s official Twitter account @PUBG announced that the game would make an official collaboration with BLACKPINK. However, there had been no exact details as to what the collaboration was about in the announcement.

That is until PUBG’s official Twitter account finally released the BLACKPINK x PUBG Collaboration event on August 5 with a tagline, “BLACKPINK in Your Battlegrounds”.

According to the announcement, BLACKPINK x PUBG Collaboration will include various BLACKPINK elements in the PUBG maps, items, and events.

BLACKPINK Attributes in PUBG Maps

As a celebration of BLACKPINK and PUBG collaboration, there would be various BLACKPINK attributes in the game, which gamer BLINKs can enjoy from August 8 to September 7 (PC) and August 12 to September 15 (console).

BLACKPINK Decals

Firstly, BLACKPINK decals on buildings will be available for Erangel, Miramar, and Vikendi maps in the normal, e-sport, and ranked mode.

BLACKPINK Airplane Tail

The second attribute gamer BLINKs can enjoy in PUBG is the BLACKPINK airplane tail, available in the normal, e-sport, and ranked mode for selected maps only.

BLACKPINK Supply Crate and Smoke

On top of that, gamer BLINKs will feel the presence of BLACKPINK more vividly during the game in PUBG.

That is because, during the event, the smoke color in the game will change into the BLACKPINK concept. Besides, BLACKPINK Supply Crates will also drop in various places throughout the map.

Better yet, gamer BLINKs will also be able to find BLACKPINK LV.3 helmets from the Supply Crates. This item is a special BLACKPINK x PUBG helmet skin available when gamer BLINKs play without wearing any other helmet skin.

Unfortunately, the BLACKPINK Supply Crate and Smoke feature will only be available in the Normal match for selected maps.

BLACKPINK x PUBG Items

Along with various attributes within the maps, the BLACKPINK x PUBG collaboration event also features 38 items in total, including BLACKPINK stage costumes.

Furthermore, these items will be available in the form of 4 different item bundles: JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA BLACKPINK Bundles. If gamer BLINKs want to acquire all the bundles, PUBG also offers the BLACKPINK Mega Bundle, containing all the available bundles plus BLACKPINK Spray and Parachute.

BLACKPINK x PUBG Special Drops Event

To complete the collaboration, PUBG also offers the BLACKPINK Special Drops Event. And in this event, gamer BLINKs will complete various quests to gain BLACKPINK-themed rewards such as BLACKPINK Helmet, BLACKPINK Backpack, and contraband coupons.

On top of everything, PUBG also stated that there would be more events involving giveaways of real BLACKPINK LV.3 helmets and autographed CDs.

There has yet been any confirmation from BLACKPINK whether this event is part of BLACKPINK 5^th Anniversary Project, though.
