BLACKPINK just released another intriguing teaser entitled BLACKPINK – The Invitation. Is it related to the Variety Hitmakers Award Ceremony?

Previously, on November 23, BLINKs were left curious with a teaser video titled BLACKPINK – AROUND THE WORLD. Again, on December 1, BLACKPINK released another intriguing teaser video titled BLACKPINK – The Invitation.

In the second teaser video, there are two hands wearing gloves handling a briefcase and placing a ruby YouTube play button inside. Moreover, it shows the passcode, order code, delivery schedule, shipping instruction, and QR code that leads to the BLACKPINK YouTube channel.

However, we try to solve the puzzles from the video teaser with past news about Blackpink. Here we go:

• The item code: “08082016″ might be related to August 8, 2016. It is BLACKPINK’s debut date with one of the double single of Square One, BOOMBAYAH. Recently, the BOOMBAYAH MV has reached 1 billion views on October 13, 2020.
  
• For the order code “1120/2020″ might refer to Variety’s article here.

• Moreover, the briefcase’s delivery is set at 11 AM KST, on December 3, 2020. At the same time, Variety’s Hitmakers Ceremony will be held.
• However, since there’s a time difference between EST & KST, the passcode “1,2,4” might refer to the exact date as in South Korea, it will be on December 4 (11 KST).
• At Variety’s Hitmakers Award Ceremony, BLACKPINK will receive an award as the Group of the Year.
