On June 16, YG Entertainment announced that “BLACKPINK The Movie” is set to release as the first part of “4+1 PROJECT” for BLACKPINK’s fifth-anniversary celebrations.
Last year, BLACKPINK released a documentary film titled “BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky” on Netflix. So, the upcoming “BLACKPINK The Movie” will be the group’s second movie.
The movie is a gift for BLACKPINK’s fans worldwide and everyone else who enjoys KPop songs and performances. Thus, “BLACKPINK The movie” will premiere at the CGV in South Korea and globally in more than 100 countries worldwide.
As reported, the movie will feature various segments. One of them is “the room of memories.” In that segment, the girls will share memories from their five years journey together. Moreover, there will be a “beauty” segment that highlights each member’s unique personality.
The movie also includes previously unreleased interviews and five songs from Blackpink’s concert tours “The Show” and “In Your Area.”
According to reports, CGV will use cutting-edge technology to provide viewers with various viewing modes for a more enjoyable experience. They also plan to use 4DX technology so that audiences can hear the distinctive echo and emotion that the concert venue produces.
BLINKs are super excited for BLACKPINK’s movie release.
