Melody, it’s bad news unfortunately! BTOB’s agency, CUBE Entertainment, has announced that BTOB Minhyuk (HUTA) has tested positive for COVID-19 during his self-quarantine.

BTOB Minhyuk is Positive of COVID-19 with Signs of Cough and Fever

On July 17, BTOB’s agency, CUBE Entertainment, announced that one of BTOB members, Minhyuk, has tested positive for COVID-19 during his self-quarantine.

According to the announcement, BOTB Minhyuk went to a health center on July 16 after showing signs of cough and fever. Then, after undergoing a test, it showed that Minhyuk was positive for COVID-19.

“He visited the health center on July 16 after showing signs of coughs and a fever and tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 17).”

Minhyuk Previously Tested Negative

Previously, BTOB Minhyuk had to undergo self-quarantine after his vocal teacher tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Even though both his rapid antigen and PCR test results were negative, BTOB Minhyuk still had to go under self-quarantine. It is in accordance with the government guidelines, considering he was a close contact.

However, apparently during his self-quarantine, Minhyuk’s test showed a positive result.

“Previously, Minhyuk underwent preemptive testing after his vocal teacher was confirmed with the virus. His results for both the rapid antigen test and PCR test came back negative, and he went into self-quarantine.”

Fans Wishing BTOB Minhyuk a Complete Recovery

Fans, both Melody and others are devastated of the news because there have been multiple COVID-19 cases of idols this week.

After ATEEZ San and two members of TREASURE, Doyoung and Jung Hwan, now BTOB Minhyuk has also tested positive for COVID-19 even after showing a negative result in his initial tests.

Lee Minhyuk was tested negative in the first two tests (Speed Antigen, PCR) but visited the health center on the 16th for cough and fever symptoms and was confirmed positive today.
