On December 5th, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook of BTS will start their mandatory military service. RM and V will follow their separate enlistment procedures, while Jimin and Jungkook will enlist together. Notably, no official events will mark their entry into the recruit training center.
The agency further emphasizes the importance of safety at the recruit training center. They kindly request that fans refrain from attending the entry ceremony. This event is only for soldiers and their families. Instead, the agency encourages fans to express their farewells and show support from a distance. They understand the love and enthusiasm of the fans, but also emphasize the need to prioritize the safety of all involved.

BTS Members Military Service Enlistment Dates
RM and V are scheduled to begin military service on the 11th of this month. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook will follow suit on the 12th. With their enlistments, all seven members of BTS will fulfill their mandatory military service. As the eldest member, Jin enlisted as an active-duty soldier last December, while J-Hope joined in April. On the other hand, Suga completed his basic military training in September and currently serves as a social service worker.
The Excitement of Reunion: Jimin, Jungkook, and Jin
According to industry sources, Jimin and Jungkook will enlist together on December 12th. They will join Jin, who is currently an instructor at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. Fans are eagerly anticipating this long-awaited reunion. They are also speculating about the potential for humorous interactions between Jin and the two rookies during their time together. Suga completed his basic military training in September and now serves as a public service worker. Jin and J-Hope are expected to be discharged next year. They will pave the way for a complete group reunion anticipated after June 2025.
