BTS J-Hope First Most Followed Korean Solo Artist with More Than 7 Million Followers on Spotify

Jung Hoseok, aka BTS J-Hope, adds another first to his ‘first list.’ This time, BTS J-Hope becomes the first most followed Korean solo artist who surpassed 7 million followers on Spotify. Not only that, BTS J-Hope is also one of the top 125 most followed Global Artists on Spotify.

BTS J-Hope 7 million followers on Spotify

Extending his record of being the most followed Korean solo artist, BTS J-Hop becomes the first Korean solo artist who surpassed 7 million followers on Spotify.

Previously, on April 7, 2019, J-Hope became the most followed Korean solo artist on Spotify with 1,367,980 million followers.

From then on, his followers kept increasing year by year and surpassed 7 million this year. The surprising thing is, within those years, BTS J-Hope didn’t do any promotion or release any physical album.

BTS J-Hope last released a single two years ago (September 2019) featuring Becky G, ‘Chicken Noodle Soup.’ Before that, his first mixtape ‘Hope World’ was released in March 2018.

Therefore, BTS J-Hope surpassed 7 million followers on Spotify with only 8 songs!

With many followers on Spotify, BTS J-Hope is #5 the most followed Korean artists on Spotify following #1 BTS, #2 BLACKPINK, #3 TWICE, and #4 EXO. Consequently, BTS J-Hope is the first and only Korean SOLO artist in the top 5.
