One of BTS members, Jimin, is widely known to be the sweet ‘Charity Angel’ with his previous multiple donations. Today, BTS Jimin fans live up to their idol by gathering donations for victims of Typhoon Rai in the Philippines.

On December 16, Typhoon Rai—also locally known as Odette—began striking the Philippines, affecting over 3 million people, according to The Guardian. Therefore, in supporting the victims to overcome the worst typhoon to hit the country, fans of BTS Jimin started gathering donations immediately after Typhoon Rai struck the country.

US Fanbase of BTS Jimin Reportedly Made Donations via American Red Cross and UNICEF

In response to this disaster, US fans of BTS Jimin have reportedly made donations for the Typhoon Rai victims via UNICEF and American Red Cross.

✨To celebrate the holidays in a meaningful way and inspired always by Jimin’s pay-it-forward attitude, we have made donations to the following in response to families who were hit by Super Typhoon Rai and other disasters.

Furthermore, they have made these donations to support over 946,097 children spending their holidays without a roof over their heads.

“Give Love on Christmas” Project: BTS Jimin Philippines Fanbase Donations for Typhoon Rai Victims

At the same time, BTS Jimin fans in the Philippines have also managed their own project: “Give Love on Christmas”.

In the light of this unfortunate disaster, BTS Jimin fans in the Philippines have also initiated a donation drive with the name “Give Love on Christmas”. They will gather donations for the Typhoon Rai victims, especially in two most-affected provinces.
