On March 15, Korean news outlet OSEN reported that BTS Jimin will participate in the OST lineup for tvN’s new Korean drama series, Our Blues. So let’s check out the fun facts on BTS Jimin OST debut.

BTS Jimin First-Ever Original Soundtrack Project

1. The Third Member of BTS’ Vocal Line to Sing K-drama OST

BTS’ vocal line consists of Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The first member who sang an OST was V. He made his OST debut in 202O for K-drama, Itaewon Class, starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi with a single titled ‘Sweet Night’. This year, V also sang another OST for K-drama Our Beloved Summer, starring Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi with a single titled ‘Christmas Tree.’

The second member of BTS who made OST debut was BTS Jin (Seokjin). For his OST debut, he sang a single titled Yours, for a tvN drama Jirisan, starring Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon.

So, the ‘Our Blues’ soundtrack will be the first-ever project that BTS Jimin participates in singing K-drama OST. According to media outlets, he has already completed recording the original soundtrack for the upcoming drama series.

2. A Masterpiece OST

On March 15, an official from the OST production company NyamNyam Entertainment stated:

“Jimin will participate in the OST for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Our Blues.’ With the global group member, BTS Jimin will be joining us, we will revitalize the drama with a high-quality OST that harmonizes well with the flow of the story.”

3. South Korean Best K-drama Soundtrack Composer Writes the Song. Rocoberry?

Rocobbery, a South Korean musical pop duo, shared Jimin’s upcoming OST debut news on their official Instagram account. They also shared the screenshot of “Our Blues” by the tvN drama Instagram account in their previous post.

If they really wrote Jimin’s upcoming OST, we should anticipate the next masterpiece of K-drama OST by Rocoberry. Among their previous hit soundtracks, one of the popular soundtracks is “Stay With You,” that EXO Chanyeol and Punch sang.

The song is the original soundtrack of K-Drama Goblin and is included as one of the best K-drama OSTs of all time. In addition, the song’s MV has surpassed 362millions views on YouTube.

4. K-Drama with All-Star Casts

Our Blues is a drama with a star-studded cast lineup. The main casts consist of Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jeung Eun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Woo Bin, and Han Ji Min.

In 16 episodes, we will follow the bitter and sweet story of the diverse characters’ lives on Jeju island who are interconnected with one another. The upcoming tvN drama series will premiere on April 9 at 9:10 PM KST, every Saturday and Sunday, and will be available to watch on Netflix and tvN.

5. Kim Woo Bin’s First Comeback Project

Actor Kim Woo Bin finally returned to the small screen this year! After being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, his comeback is long-awaited by Kdrama fans. This drama also marks the first project for the real-life couple, Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah, to appear together in the same drama.
