BTS Jimin Successfully Completed Surgery for Acute Appendicitis But Tested Positive for COVID-19 – What Happened?

After successfully completing surgery for acute appendicitis, BTS Jimin is currently recuperating while receiving additional treatment after testing positive for COVID-19. What really happened? Check out the following updates.

BTS Jimin Successfully Received Surgery for Acute Appendicitis

The kindhearted angel voice, Park Jimin of BTS, is now recuperating in the hospital after successfully completing surgery for acute appendicitis. Unfortunately, however, BTS Jimin has to receive additional exclusive treatment after tested positive for the COVID-19 disease.

On January 31, BIGHIT MUSIC posted an announcement on Weverse that BTS Jimin experienced abdominal pain all of a sudden. In addition to the stomach pain, he also suffered from a sore throat. And it all happened the day before, on January 30.

“Jimin experienced sudden abdominal pain along with mild sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon.”

Jimin Visited the Emergency Room and Tested Positive for COVID-19

After visiting the hospital’s emergency room and undergoing a thorough examination, the medical professionals diagnosed Jimin with acute appendicitis. Along with the diagnosis, his PCR test also showed that BTS Jimin was positive for COVID-19. Then, following the doctor’s advice, BTS Jimin went through with the surgery on January 31.

“He visited a hospital emergency room for an extensive examination and also took a PCR test. BTS Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and was tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following physician advice early morning on Monday, January 31.”

BTS Jimin is Resting and Recuperating with Speedy Recovery

Finally, BIGHIT also explained that BTS Jimin is now recuperating in the hospital. He’s receiving exclusive in-patient treatment for COVID-19 along with the postoperative procedure.

“According to the medical staff, Jimin’s surgery was a success, and he is now recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19, along with his postoperative care.

Jimin is experiencing mild sore throat but making a speedy recovery. Also, he had no contact with the other BTS members during the infectious stage.”
