BTS August 21 New Song for the Summer Time

Earlier this year, BTS released an album Map of The Soul 7 with the title track “ON” in February 2020. On July 26 (KST), during the live broadcast Kkul FM Ji Jin Jung, BTS members shared about BTS comeback in 2020 and BTS new song release date on August 21.

Soon after the boys announced their comeback plan and new song release date, Big Hit Entertainment officially announced BTS new song release date on Weverse and Twitter.

Further on a live broadcast, BTS J-Hope revealed that the new song would be happier and sung in English. Like MIC Drop and Waste It On Me. BTS V said, “We thought that the song sounded perfect in English.”

BTS RM also conveyed why BTS new song will be released in August 21, “We will release the pre-single because we want to give it to our fans as soon as possible. As we also want to give positive energy to them who may be going tough times because of the coronavirus crisis.”

On May 11, the Kpop superstars BTS held a meeting discussing their self-produced upcoming album. It was aired live on their YouTube channel “BANGTANTV.”

Album Theme and Message

BTS Suga’s idea about the new album’s concept is more comforting like the song “Spring Day.” Meanwhile, BTS RM added the message that no matter what, our lives go on.

As for BTS Jimin, the message would be like a simple yet fun way to convey gratitude for the things that are usually taken for granted. RM also added that telepathy had been a way to keep in touch with the fans for these seven years.

Songs Style

About the idea for each song in the album, BTS Suga conveyed his idea that it’s like a letter with a popped out note about various things that everyone can relate to. Meanwhile, BTS Jin proposed that the songs would be about empathy.

BTS Jungkook added a song that is also stress-relieving. Meanwhile, J-Hope uttered his idea about a song that shows BTS’s style. Further, BTS Kim Teahyung mentioned one of BTS songs “So What” and proposed an upbeat song.

So, when BTS comeback album is released

Previously, BTS Jin had revealed the BTS new album release date accidentally. On Kkul FM Ji Jin Jung Radio, BTS conveyed that the BTS new album release date would be in the second half of the year. Further, they already completed the jacket filming for BTS new album.
