Another record from BTS, who has just finished their 4-day concert in LA. According to Billboard, BTS “Permission to Dance on Stage – LA” 4-day show grossed US$33.3 million and sold 214,000 tickets!
BTS New Record: US$33.3 million in 4-day!
The BTS “Permission to Dance on Stage – LA” that kicked off on November 27 and wrapped up on December 2 was a huge success!
After nearly two years without in-person concerts, it seems that Kpop fans, especially ARMY, were super excited. As a result, BTS has sold 214,000 tickets and earned US$33.3 million.
Highest-grossing engagement by non-English Language Artist
BTS SoFi Stadium concerts show the highest-grossing engagement since the world re-open concert venues. Moreover, it is also the #1 highest-grossing run of shows at a single venue since a decade after Roger Water’s nine-show run in 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Other concerts, including the ones from countries outside North America, that achieved higher gross in Billboard Boxscore history were minimum of at least eight shows. It means that BTS SoFi shows the highest-gross engagement with the shortest shows.
Additionally, BTS becomes the first non-English-language artist to earn more than US$20 million in one engagement.
BTS “Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul”
Before losing the euphoria of BTS “Permission to Dance on Stage – LA,” they announced their next stop. On Friday, December 3, BTS took their official Twitter account to share the good news that the next concert will be in Seoul in March 2022.

ARMY shared their excitement at the news. They even speculate that this is the beginning of the BTS world tour after canceling the previous tour due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
“This is the end of our concert in LA. But this is definitely not our end. This moment makes me so sad, but it was so fun and so precious. I’m confused how I feel right now. This is not our last show. This is just a beginning. So, we will keep seeing you.”

Not only that, but ARMY also guess that BTS will release a new album ahead of the ‘world tour,’ probably in January or February.
Wait.. Okay so you guys know how BTS basically said its only the beginning? So they're starting concerts (maybe tour) in march again, what if they do the places from the cancelled MOTS tour? It would start with Seoul again pic.twitter.com/3fMAjaHgsK
