Netflix to Feature BTS Song in “Bridgerton” Season 3 – Is It REALLY Fitting?
Another mashup between Kpop and Western series will soon be gracing your screen!
On May 14 at 1 AM KST, Netflix official X account announced that they will feature a BTS song for the upcoming season 3 of the “Bridgerton” series. According to the announcement, the BTS song chosen for “Bridgerton” series is none other than the global 2020 hit track, “Dynamite.”
Unfortunately, while fans are celebrating the feature of their favorite BTS masterpiece in the series, some other fans questioned about the song selection.
Netflix “Bridgerton” series features an American music group, Vitamin String Quartet, famous for their orchestral version of famous pop songs. Previously, this famous music group asked BTS fans in 2022 via Twitter (now X) which BTS song they would like to hear in “Bridgerton” Season 3.
During the unofficial poll and research, most of the fans answered that they really wanted “Bridgerton” Season 3 to feature “Black Swan.” According to fans, “Black Swan” is a much more fitting choice to appear in “Bridgerton” as the vibe and emotions incredibly match the theme of the series.
While “Black Swan” is one of BTS’s most powerful songs as it is, a collaboration with the breathtaking stories and scenes of “Bridgerton” will create a masterpiece you can never imagine!
Does Netflix Only Recognize “Dynamite”?
Netflix confirming “Dynamite” as the BTS song featured in “Bridgerton” season 3 brings us to one concerning question: is this the only song they know?
Previously, Netflix once produced a cover of BTS song in one of their famous series, “Emily in Paris.” And the BTS song they chose for this series was also “Dynamite.”
Today, Netflix decided to go with “Dynamite”—again—for “Bridgerton” Season 3. So, does it mean that this is the only song they know and recognize?
BTS possesses a vast collection of discographies with numerous excellent songs since their debut. And fans have been endlessly recommended that “Black Swan” will be much more fitting for the “Bridgerton” series. And yet, once again, Netflix decided to go the easy way and chose “Dynamite” instead.
Little did they know that BTS “Black Swan” and Vitamin String Quartet would tear the viewers’ hearts apart if they collaborated on “Bridgerton.”
