On September 19th, BTS attended the First South Korea’s Youth Day 2020 hosted by South Korea’s Blue House (Cheongwadae). They were not only giving encouraging messages to the youth but also presenting a BTS time capsule to the National History Museum.

BTS Received a South Korean Presidential Medal of Cultural Merit in 2018.
BTS is one of South Korea’s proud youth. Back in 2018, President Moon Jae In wrote them a thank you letter when the group made history as the first K-Pop act to reach #1 on USA’s ‘Billboard 200 with ‘Love Yourself: Tear’.
On October 24th, 2018, BTS became the first K-pop boy group as well as the youngest recipient who receive the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit in Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards. The award is the highest civil cultural award or named the Flower Crown.
South Korea’s Prime Minister Lee Nak-Yeon conveyed: “BTS has given an outstanding contribution in promoting South Korean culture and Korean language throughout the world. Many of their fans learning the Korean language to understand and sing along BTS song.”

Suga conveyed that they started with dreams to success, began their career in a small company, and facing many difficulties. But they didn’t stop right there. Knowing that every difficulty shall pass, never looking back, as those hardships will become their fond memories.
Encourage others. Ordinary words can be meaningful for someone.

Jimin said that they have worked so hard, but it seemed they didn’t go anywhere. But, it was good that they have people by their side who cheer them with the words “We can’t understand everything but we’re heartbroken. Let’s get through this together.” Although it might be just common words, it warmed their heart. As for lost youth, those words were a guiding light.

When V felt that he was lost and start questioning what he wanted, he asked himself and be honest to himself and embraced each emotion, and letting them go.
