Do you think rallying against a case that’s been closed for weeks is considered overreacting or simply normal? Apparently, weeks after the court closed the DUI drunk driving accident case involving BTS Suga, another flower wreath parade appeared in front of the HYBE building as an alleged fan response to promote his dismissal. And yet, how was it possible? Join us in the complete report below.
A Flower Wreath Parade Appeared as Alleged Fan Response to Protest Against BTS Suga DUI Accident
It may sound surprising, but more flower wreath parade has reportedly appeared to promote the dismissal of member Suga (birth name Min Yoongi) from BTS.
On October 19, a post on Korean online community Instiz went viral for showing a massive flower wreath parade in front of HYBE building. These flower wreaths, which in South Korea is commonly used for funerals, appeared as an alleged fan response in South Korea against BTS Suga and his latest DUI drunk driving accident.
Showing discouraging captions, these flower wreath parades demanded that Suga be dismissed from BTS. According to some of these captions, due to his alcoholism, Suga has tarnished the good name of BTS and doesn’t belong to the group.
- “I use Suga’s photocards to hold my hotteok and Suga’s albums as my pot coasters.”
- “The hotteok will start smelling like alcohol, so I can’t even use Suga’s photocards for the hotteok stands.”
- “Suga, whose alcohol test was 0.227, got caught by the police by tripping on the floor.”
- “I recommend 0 Sugar (Suga). Bang Sihyuk’s meat juice diet failed.”
- “Fast get rid of criminal Suga.”
- “A criminal doesn’t belong on stage.”
How Was It Possible Even After the Drunk Driving Case Closed?
So, how was it possible that the funeral wreath emerged again even after BTS Suga DUI drunk driving accident is completely over?
Several posts on social media commented that the recent flower wreaths emerged after what happened to RIIZE Seunghan. Inspired by the protests, it allegedly became an unwanted fan response in South Korea against the BTS Suga DUI accident.

Not only that, but these protests have even reportedly been legally approved with official police permits. Therefore, even after some fans have worked hard to remove them, they will appear again for the next few days due to the permits.

-they are legal, they have a permit police confirmed this. hybe cannot take them down bc they are on the public street as a permitted demonstration.
-if you tamper with them you WILL be arrested, police have given warnings to army on site.
As of today, there’s no clear information as to who’s behind this massive flower wreath parade against BTS Suga. Even when accusations are circulating that NewJeans and NCT fans are behind this protest, there’s no actual proof.
Therefore, international fans are rallying to defend Suga with #WELOVEYOUYOONGI, #BTSisSeven, and #YoongiNeverWalksAlone. Someone even sent coffee and LED trucks as an official fan response from ARMY, showing that despite all the DUI issues, BTS Suga is never alone.
