BTS V is rumored to release his solo debut album in the third quarter of 2023. The speculation was made based on V’s Instagram story and a post from one of the producers who has worked with V. Now, ARMY is eagerly waiting for the official announcement and trend KTH1 on SNS.
BTS V’s Debut Album, When Will Be Released?
Every year, there is always time to speculate about V’s solo debut album. Apparently, releasing a solo work has been on V’s wish list since 2020.
In 2021, BTS V dropped a relaxing song Sleep which was said to be a teaser of his mixtape KTH1. However, until the end of the year, there is no sign of KTH1 being released.
While in 2022, V said on Weverse that KTH1 was coming that year. Unfortunately, ARMY had to wait much longer as there was no KTH1 release last year.
Until today, May 3, at around 2 AM KST, BTS V updated his Instagram Story, saying, “Good Morning!” The time he posted it makes ARMY curious – 2 AM is not a normal time to greet good morning. Fans wondered why he was up so late (or woke up so early).
BTS V previously said that he had scrapped all of his songs and started all over again. Not only that, but he also mentioned that his day and night had been switched. Therefore, fans speculated that BTS V was working on his music for his solo debut album.
If so, it was a clever hint!

Additionally, fans noticed that one of the producers who worked with V on his cover of It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas posted a screenshot of a song titled Rough Mix and wrote June June!
Could it be another hint of BTS V’s solo debut album?
