2020 MAMA Winners: BTS Deftly Wins Big!

On December 6, the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards was broadcasted live worldwide with Song Joong as the host of the event. BTS wins big as they took home many awards at MAMA Awards 2020. Check out the full list of 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards winners below.

BTS in MAMA Awards

In the 2020 MAMA Awards, BTS broke another two records. First, they swept all four Daesangs in two consecutive years. These four grand prizes are known as Daesangs, including the Mnet Asian Music Award for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of The Year, and Worldwide Icon of the Year.

The second record that BTS broke at the 2020 MAMA Awards is winning the Mnet Asian Music Award for Artist of The Year for five consecutive years.

Moreover, they also won Best Male Group, Best Dance Performance – Male Group (“Dynamite”), Best Music Video (“Dynamite”), Worldwide Fans Choice Top 10. Accordingly, BTS took home a total of eight awards at the 2020 MAMA Awards.

Furthermore, the collaboration song “Eight” of IU and BTS Suga won the Best Collaboration. The CEO of Big Hit Entertainment (BTS’ management agency), Bang Si-hyuk, also won Best Executive Producer of the Year.
