The horrible case of abuse from the former CEO against members of Kpop group OMEGA X is not yet over. The former agency, Spire Entertainment, is reportedly suing OMEGA X members despite the court’s decision. Check out the following details about the new updates of the CEO abuse case against members of the Kpop group OMEGA X.
The Court Once Again Confirmed CEO Kang’s Sexual Harassments and Abuse Against Kpop Group OMEGA X
The battle of Kpop group OMEGA X against its former agency SPIRE Entertainment is not yet over. South Korean court must once again confirm the authenticity of the sexual harassment and abuse done by CEO Kang against OMEGA X members in the previous case.
On January 6, Sports Khan exclusively reported a follow-up decision from the South Korean court regarding the previous CEO abuse case against OMEGA X members. According to the court’s decisions, all the abuse and sexual harassment claims that former agency CEO Kang had made to members of Kpop group OMEGA X have been true and confirmed.
Previously, Kpop group OMEGA X members filed two separate lawsuits to the South Korean court. One was about the sexual harassment and abuse by CEO Kang towards members of Kpop group OMEGA X. And another one was against the biased report that YouTuber In Jiwoong made simply based on the false claim by CEO Kang’s agency SPIRE Entertainment.
Details of The Court’s Decision on the CEO Abuse Case Against OMEGA X
Recently, the court delivered two significant rulings. It recognized that Spire Entertainment’s CEO Kang had subjected members of Omega X to verbal abuse and forceful harassment. This critical finding then impacted the court’s broader decision.
Furthermore, the court considered each injunction filed last January. These petitions aimed to freeze the group’s exclusive contract, challenging its legality.
“The executives at Spire Entertainment have often talked about either putting Omega X’s activities on hold or breaking up the group. This seems to have been a way to intimidate the members, and it’s thought that it might have harmed their trust in the company.”

Additionally, the court also issued rulings against YouTuber In Jiwoong. They deemed the YouTuber’s videos as harassment against OMEGA X and ordered the YouTuber to remove all the videos containing the false claims.
CEO Kang and SPIRE Entertainment Still Harasses OMEGA X Members
Previously in January last year, the court sided with Omega X, ending the provisional injunction application. Following this issue, Omega X and Spire Entertainment mutually agreed to dissolve their exclusive contracts in May of the same year.
However, apparently, OMEGA X’s former CEO and agency are not satisfied with the decision.
Instead of walking away and leaving OMEGA X members alone, the former agency issued a statement on January 5. They claimed to have sued Kpop group OMEGA X and their lawyers for defamation against CEO Kang.
Not only that, but they also posted accusations that OMEGA X members have not responded to the lawsuit.
“Last year in May, we filed a complaint against attorneys who publicly disseminated untrue stories and details about CEO Kang for defamation.
We have also confirmed that they are still not showing up or providing statements in response.”

Legal Representative Denies SPIRE Entertainment’s Claims + Taking Legal Action
Responding to SPIRE Entertainment’s claims, legal representatives of OMEGA X members finally issued an official statement.
“Although it was reported last May that legal representatives were sued for defamation by stating false facts, up to now, 8 months later, we have not received any summonses from the police, nor have we received any complaints.
Our personal addresses, phone numbers, and office addresses haven’t changed, so the idea that we are deliberately not responding to the investigation is absurd and preposterous.”

Moreover, since SPIRE Entertainment keeps on disturbing members of Kpop group OMEGA X even after they left, they are finally taking serious legal action.
“Omega X has filed a complaint against Spire Entertainment’s CEO Kang Seong-hee and Chairman Hwang Sung-woo for assault, sexual harassment, violation of the Sexual Violence Punishment Law, business interference, defamation by stating false facts, and the investigation is currently underway. Civil lawsuits, including compensation claims, are also in progress.
Additionally, in response to the distribution of false facts in the articles, our law firm will immediately take strong legal action against Spire Entertainment.
The Omega X case was a tragic incident that showed how greedy adults in this society ruin the dreams of young people. We hope they can overcome their wounds and unfold their dreams without being hurt again by adults. Thank you.”
