Cha Eun Woo in Discussion to Star in a New Drama

The perfect visual actor Cha Eun Woo will soon be back in another webtoon adaptation drama.

On August 26, Korean media reported that ASTRO’s singer and actor Cha Eun Woo is currently in discussion for a lead role in a new webtoon-adaptation drama. Furthermore, the literal title of the drama will be “Dak Gang Jeong”, which refers to Korean sweet and sour fried chicken.

However, responding to the report, his agency Fantagio stated, “Director Lee Byung Hun’s ‘Dak Gang Jeong’ is one of the projects that [Cha Eun Woo] was offered. A decision has not been made yet.”

Cha Eun Woo New Drama Based on Webtoon “Dak Gang Jeong” or Chicken Gang Jeong by Park Ji Dok (PJD)

According to the report, Cha Eun Woo possible new drama will be another webtoon adaptation from “Dak Gang Jeong” or Chicken Gang Jeong by Park Ji Dok, also known as PJD.

Moreover, the webtoon itself talks about a comical story of the main character, Minah, who played around with a mysterious machine. Then, suddenly, the mysterious machine turns Minah from a beautiful girl into a piece of chicken gang jeong. After that, the drama will talk about a hilarious story of how Minah’s father and his intern work very hard to turn Minah back into a human.
