In “A Good Day to Be A Dog” Korean Drama, Park Gyu Young and Lee Hyun Woo will join the cast as the main roles. Here are their designated characters.
Park Gyu Young as Han Hae Na
Young talented actress Park Gyu Young is joining the “A Good Day to Be A Dog” new Korean Drama cast as the main character, Han Hae Na.
Han Hae Na is a high school teacher with an extraordinary curse she inherited from her ancestors. She will turn into a dog when she kisses a man. This curse started during the ancient era because one of her ancestors accidentally killed the mountain spirit’s precious dog. Since then, the ancestor passed the curse to every generation. That is why everyone in her family will turn into a dog when they kiss someone of the opposite sex.
One day, having such an extraordinary curse, Han Hae Na mistakenly kisses the aloof teacher Jin Seo Won, thinking he’s the kindhearted Lee Bo Gyeom. And then, she had to make Jin Seo Won kiss her once again so she could return to her normal state.
The problem is, Jin Seo Won must kiss her in her dog form, while the man has severe cynophobia.

And watching her previous performances in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Dali and the Cocky Prince”, Han Hae Na will be a whole new experience for Park Gyu Young.
Do you think she will nail the role?
Lee Hyun Woo as Lee Bo Gyeom
Along with Park Gyu Young, actor Lee Hyun Woo will join “A Good Day to Be A Dog” Korean Drama cast as the kindhearted teacher Lee Bo Gyeom.
Completely opposite of Jin Seo Won, Lee Bo Gyeom is a kindhearted teacher with a heart as warm as the Spring. He seems to emanate sunshine and happiness everywhere he goes, which makes Han Hae Na perfectly enticed by him.
With a perfect smile and heart as pure as gold, Han Hae Na believes that Lee Bo Gyeom will be okay even if he knows her secret. And that was why she braced herself to come up and kissed Lee Bo Gyeom. That was until she realized that she had picked the wrong person.
Actor Lee Hyun Woo had previously showcased his acting in various roles in dramas and movies. He was particularly exceptional in his most recent role as Rio in “Money Heist” Korea.
However, this time, Lee Hyun Woo must shed his intensity and return with a much brighter and refreshing character. Will he be able to pull a wonderful Lee Bo Gyeom?
